I put in my two week notice last Wednesday. I feel good about leaving. I didn't want my life to turn into me being proud of working for that company. It was an empty pride. And all those years ago I promised myself that my time spent with this company would be used as a stepping stone.

Considering my opportunities and the phase of life I am in, I am better off leaving now before I am too invested to afford a change in careers.

I feel free to live a life that my occupation revolves around and not the other way around.
